Rules and Regulations - HKMAC My Desk Calendar
Art Competition 2026

通用說明：除特別註明外，本文件所載日期及時間一律以香港時間（HKT，UTC+8）為準。
General note: Unless otherwise specified, all dates and times in this document are based on Hong Kong Time (HKT, UTC+8).

1）比賽簡介與主題

  • 主題：不限主題 — 鼓勵參賽者挑選本年度最滿意畫作參賽，作為年度藝術總結。
  • 成品：所有參賽者均可獲得一套印有其參賽作品之 2027 年 HKMAC 專屬設計座枱月曆（內附香港公眾假期，底座為可書寫記事的寫字板，可長期使用）。
  • 主辦機構：香港音樂及藝術中心 Hong Kong Music and Art Centre（HKMAC）。

2）重要日期

  • 報名／作品提交截止：2026 年 11 月 2 日（線上 23:59；郵寄以郵戳為準）
  • 結果公布：2026 年 11 月 10 日（大會將透過電郵發出得獎通知，並同步開始接受展覽及頒獎禮申請）
  • 作品展覽及頒獎禮申請截止：2026 年 11 月 18 日
  • 作品展覽及頒獎禮：2026 年 12 月 6 日

3）參賽資格與組別

  • 對象：公開參加。
  • 組別： 2–18 歲 之參賽者採年齡組別（以 2026年11月2日 當日之足歲年齡為準，每一足歲為一組），另設有 18 歲以上公開組。

4）作品要求與技術規格

  • 座枱曆單頁成品：210mm（闊） × 150mm（高）
  • 最大可印範圍：100mm × 120mm（直橫皆可）
  • 實體原作掃描：最大 A3 或 ≤ 300mm × 420mm
  • 數碼檔案最低：長邊 ≥ 1500px（直向：高 ≥ 1500px；橫向：闊 ≥ 1500px）
  • 色彩模式：最終以 CMYK 印刷；若提交 RGB，轉 CMYK 可能出現色差，請特別留意。
  • 檔案格式：JPG（高品質）、TIFF（LZW/無壓縮）、PDF（需嵌入字體）

🌟重要：低於最低像素或不符規格之檔案，印製時會出現模糊、像素化等情況；大會將按原檔直接印刷，請參賽者／家長／代表機構知悉。

🌟內容限制：不得含違法、誹謗、歧視、色情、仇恨或其他不當／冒犯性內容。

🌟版面與色調調整：為配合印製與排版，作品可能需作尺寸調整、裁切或光暗／顏色微調；上述處理將由大會統一執行，參賽者不得異議。

5）參賽者姓名印製與資料核對

  • 座枱月曆上將印製 參賽者英文姓名。
  • 參賽者／家長／監護人／任教老師／藝術機構 有責任核對 確認電郵（Email）上的姓名是否正確。
  • 提交截止日後申請更改姓名，須繳付 行政費 HK$160（因需重新製作座枱月曆及進行印前處理）。

6）作品提交方式

  • 線上提交：於官方線上報名表上載作品檔案（檔名建議：組別_姓名_作品題名）。

            拍照提交請務必：確保拍攝時畫作平整無摺痕，光線充足、無陰影、畫面端正，避免反光與偏色，以免影響輸出品質。

🌟若不確定如何拍攝出高質素相片，大會強烈建議參賽者直接郵寄實體畫作，交由大會作專業掃描。

  • 郵寄實體畫作提交：請妥善包裝並以可追蹤方式寄送至：香港九龍觀塘成業街7號寧晉中心35樓G1室 (請註明: HKMAC 我的月曆創作比賽 2026)。

🌟逾期或不完整遞交，恕不受理。

7）評審與獎項

  • 評審機制：由主辦單位指定之評審團進行（評審決定為最終依歸，任何人不得異議）。
  • 個人獎項：每組設 冠、亞、季軍、金、銀、銅獎及優異獎；每位參賽者均可獲得證書及專屬月曆。
  • 畫室/機構團體福利：報名滿 10 人即獲頒「推動藝術銀獎」獎盃及額外獲贈 2 個導師專屬月曆；滿 20 人即獲頒「金獎」水晶獎座及額外獲贈 5 個導師專屬月曆。

8）頒獎禮安排

  • 邀請對象：所有得獎者（冠、亞、季軍、金、銀、銅獎及優異獎）。
  • 日期：2026 年 12 月 6 日
  • 地點：觀塘建生商業中心 33 樓全層
  • 現場展示：設有得獎作品大型實體展示
  • 申請與費用：請於 2026 年 11 月 18 日或之前完成登記並繳付 HK$300。費用包含：參與展覽、台上親自獲頒獎盃、實體證書、嘉許信 (Achivement Letter) 及專屬月曆。

9）版權、授權與原創保證

  • 原創性保證：參賽者保證作品為本人原創；如涉抄襲／侵權或任何爭議，責任由參賽者自負。
  • 所有權與使用權：提交作品即同意將作品所有權轉讓予主辦方；主辦方可用於活動背景、海報／傳單、官網、社交媒體及其他數碼平台之展示與推廣。

10）作品退還安排

  • 費用：基本參賽費用 HK$250 已包含免費退還實體參賽畫作，以及免運費寄送 2027 年專屬設計座枱月曆。
  • 運送風險：主辦方將盡力妥善包裝及寄送；惟郵寄途中仍可能發生損壞或遺失，主辦方無法承擔相關責任。

11）私隱與個人資料

             本會尊重私隱；所收集之個人資料僅用於比賽聯絡及本會活動推廣。

12）取消資格

              如提交不當或冒犯性作品、提供不實資料、未依技術規格或違反本規則與準則，主辦方得取消其參賽資格，無需另行通知；任何已繳費用恕不退還。

13）其他條款

  • 主辦機構擁有本比賽一切安排之最終決定權。
  • 提交報名即表示了解並同意所有條款。
  • 規則如有修訂，以官網最新公告為準，恕不另行通知。
  • 海報與網站上的圖片僅供參考；實際座枱月曆或會因生產需要而作出調整。

English Version

1) Overview & Theme

  • Theme: Open theme — Participants are encouraged to pick their most satisfactory artwork of the year to join.
  • Deliverable: Every participant will receive one 2027 HKMAC–designed desk calendar printed with their own artwork (with Hong Kong public holidays; the base doubles as a writable memo board for long-term use).
  • Organizer: Hong Kong Music and Art Centre (HKMAC).

2) Key Dates

  • Application / Artwork Submission Deadline: 2 November 2026 (online 23:59; postal submissions judged by postmark)
  • Results Announcement: 10 November 2026 (Winners will be notified via email, and exhibition & award presentation applications will open simultaneously)
  • Exhibition & Award Presentation Application Deadline: 18 November 2026
  • Exhibition & Award Presentation: 6 December 2026

3) Eligibility & Groups

  • Who can join: Open to the public.
  • Grouping: Age groups for 2–18 years old (Calculated as of 2 November 2026, one age per group), and an additional Over 18 Open Group.

4) Artwork Requirements & Technical Specs

  • Finished calendar page:210 mm (W) × 150 mm (H)
  • Max printable area:100 mm × 120 mm (portrait or landscape)
  • Physical originals (scanning):Max A3 or ≤ 300 mm × 420 mm
  • Digital minimum:Longer side ≥ 1500 px (Portrait: H ≥ 1500 px; Landscape: W ≥ 1500 px)
  • Color mode:Final production in CMYK; RGB submissions will be converted and color shifts may occur — please note.
  • File formats:JPG (high quality), TIFF (LZW/uncompressed), PDF (with fonts embedded)

 🌟 Important: Files below the minimum pixel requirement will print blurry/pixelated. Files will be printed as-is; please be informed.

 🌟 Content restrictions: No unlawful, defamatory, discriminatory, sexual, hateful, or otherwise inappropriate/offensive content.

 🌟 Production adjustments: To fit printing and layout needs, the Organizer may resize, crop, or adjust brightness/color; these adjustments are carried out by the Organizer and are not subject to objection.

5) Participant Name Printing & Data Verification

  • The calendar will print the participant’s English name.
  • The participant/parent/guardian/art teacher/art school is responsible for verifying the name in the confirmation email is correct.
  • After the submission deadline, name changes require an administrative fee of HK$160 (because the desk calendar must be remade and prepress updated).

6) How to Submit

  • Online: Upload via the official online application form (suggested filename: Group_Name_ArtworkTitle).

        If submitting photos: ensure the artwork is completely flat without creases. Ensure adequate lighting and no shadows, keep the image straight, and avoid glare or color cast.

 🌟 If you are unsure how to take a high-quality photo, we highly recommend posting the physical artwork to us for professional scanning.

  • By post (for physical artwork): Pack securely and use a trackable service to: Rm G1, 35/F, Legend Tower, 7 Shing Yip Street, Kwun Tong, Hong Kong (Please indicate: HKMAC My Desk Calendar Art Competition 2026).

 🌟 Late/incomplete submissions will not be accepted.

7) Judging & Awards

  • Judging: Conducted by a judging panel appointed by the Organizer. Decisions are final and binding.
  • Individual Awards: For each group: Champion, 1st Runner-up, 2nd Runner-up; Gold, Silver, Bronze Awards; and Merit Awards. All participants will receive a certificate and their designed calendar.
  • Group Benefits: Organizations with 10 or more participants will receive the “Silver Award for Promoting Arts” trophy and 2 extra tutor calendars. Organizations with 20 or more participants will receive the “Gold Award” crystal trophy and 5 extra tutor calendars.

8) Award Presentation

  • Invitees:All winners (Champion, 1st Runner-up, 2nd Runner-up; Gold, Silver, Bronze; and Merit).
  • Date:6 December 2026
  • Venue:33/F (Whole Floor), Kin Sang Commercial Centre, Kwun Tong
  • On-site display:Winning artworks will be exhibited on site.
  • Registration & fee:Register and pay HK$300 on or before 18 November 2026. This includes participating in the exhibition, and receiving the trophy, certificate, Achievement Letter, and desk calendar on stage.

9) Copyright, License & Originality

  • Originality warranty: The participant warrants the entry is original and does not infringe any third-party rights; the participant bears all liabilities arising from disputes.
  • Ownership & usage: Submission constitutes transfer of ownership of the work to the Organizer. The Organizer may use the work for promotional and publication purposes, including but not limited to event backdrops, printed materials (flyers/posters), website, social media, and other digital platforms.

10) Return of Artwork

  • Fee: The HK$250 entry fee includes the free return of physical artworks and free shipping of the 2027 desk calendar.
  • Shipping risk: The Organizer will pack and dispatch with care, but is not liable for damage or loss during transit.

11) Privacy & Personal Data

        The Organizer respects privacy. Data collected will be used only for competition communication and HKMAC event promotion.

12) Disqualification

        The Organizer may disqualify entries for inappropriate/offensive content, false information, non-compliance with technical specs, or breaches of these rules without prior notice. Any fees paid are non-refundable in case of disqualification.

13) Other Terms

  • The Organizer reserves the final right of decision on all arrangements.
  • By submitting an application, you acknowledge and agree to all terms herein.
  • Rules are subject to change; the latest version on the official website shall prevail, without prior notice.
  • Images on posters and the website are for reference only; the actual desk calendar may be adjusted to meet production needs.
